Australian projects shortlisted in 2022 Dezeen Awards

Six Australian projects have been shortlisted in the architecture categories for the 2022 Dezeen Awards.

Australia is third among 24 countries with shortlisted projects, behind China (10) and Mexico. Across the 11 architecture categories, a total of 57 projects have been shortlisted.

The shortlisted projects will progress to the next stage of judging by a legion of esteemed international architects Yasmine Lari, Sou Fujimoto and Australian Liam Young. Winners will be announced in November. The public will also be invited to vote for their favourite projects from 12 September.

The Australian shortlisted projects are:

Keep House – BKK Architects

Residential Rebirth Project

Nido House – Angelucci Architects
Yarra Bend House – Austin Maynard Architects

Housing Project

Terrace House – Austin Maynard Architects

Small Building

Grampians Peaks Trail Stage 2 – Noxon Giffen Architecture and McGregor Coxall
