The Australian Institute of Architects has announced the winners of the 2022 Brisbane Regional Architecture Awards with a flagship project for the University of Queensland taking out the top honour.
The Andrew N. Liveris Building by Lyons and M3 Architecture houses 480 square metres of laboratory spaces for the School of Chemical Engineering. It received the John Dalton Award for Building of the Year.
Elsewhere in the awards, Live Work Share House by Bligh Graham Architects received the House of Year Award and Midtown Centre by Fender Katsalidis received the Lord Mayor’s Brisbane Buildings that Breathe Architecture Prize.
All projects that received commendations will now progress to the 2022 Queensland Architecture Awards, to be announced on 24 June.
